Redefining Success: My Journey from Corporate Kinesiology to Empowering Change

My career in kinesiology, spanning nearly a decade, was fueled by a profound passion for understanding human movement and its potential to enhance lives. However, as time passed, I found myself increasingly disillusioned by the large corporations dominating the field. Their questionable practices and the relentless pursuit of profit over people began to erode my enthusiasm and sense of purpose.

The turning point came after enduring particularly challenging circumstances at a toxic workplace. The experience was a wake-up call, igniting a fear-driven determination within me. It was clear that I needed to channel my efforts into something more meaningful and personal. I was driven by the need to create stability not just for myself but for my family, something that the corporate world’s grueling hours and minimal compensation could never offer.

My journey is more than a career shift; it's about investing in my own value and, in the process, reclaiming my personal life. The stark reality of spending 50-60 hours a week in a job that no longer served my passion or my family's needs became unacceptable. I realized that many fellow kinesiologists were trapped in similar corporate snares, far removed from their original calling to make a difference in people’s lives.

This realization sparked a new mission: to create a movement that not only brings back the passion for kinesiology but also challenges the status quo of the corporate grip on our profession. My goal is to inspire change and empower others in the field to take control of their careers and lives, ensuring they have the opportunity to work with integrity, balance, and a sense of fulfillment.

Let's start a movement together. It's time to redefine success in kinesiology, focusing on what truly matters: improving lives, including our own, and restoring the heart to our profession. Together, we can pave the way for a future where passion and personal well-being lead the way in creating a healthier, more balanced world.
